Tamu Bintulu

What a long time not posted anything in this blog. It's been a journey through the half end of the year, change of work place and to suit myself in new workplace which needs me to take my hand off my blog quite a while.

I come back with my post about street shooting at Tamu Bintulu (Bintulu Market) where locals sell and buy fresh vegetables and meats. The color from the fruits and vegetables are vibrant and even the people surround is multiracial which reflects true harmonic environment in the Town of Bintulu and in the Land of Sarawak. Below are my set of photos at Tamu Bintulu in the morning. Enjoys.

Filipino Market

After having tired and fun team building building with my section team, I had managed to visit to Philipino Market which located at Kota Kinabalu town before my flight back to Miri on the same day. The market is situated next to the fishing jetty which is mainly for fisherman to transport their fishes and sea creatures to be sold. The Filipino Market is combination of vegetables market, dry sea products market and gift shops.

If in the night, Filipino Market is the place where you can get seafood freshly from sea but unluckily I have no time to wait for night as I need to catch up with my flight in the afternoon. Maybe next time my trip with my wife, I will have the chance to explore the seafood stalls in the Filipino Market.

Below are sets of photo taken at the Filipino Market. Enjoy!

Island Hopping to Pulau Sapi and Pulau Manukan

It is a great opportunity and pleasure to have a chance to do Island Hopping to Pulau Sapi and Pulau Manukan. The activities is the effort of our section to bring closeness between the staff. Pulau Sapi and Pulau Manukan is situated at Kota Kinabalu (KK), Sabah and the first Island that we visit is Pulau Sapi which took us around 15 minutes to travel with high speed boat from Tanjung Aru Jetty.

Pulau Sapi is the neighbouring island to Pulau Gaya which is a large island in KK and can be seen clearly from KK town. During of our time visit to Pulau Sapi, the island is fully occupied with tourist from local and foreign. The activities that can be done there but with additional payment is para-sailing, flying fox, banana boating, jet skiing, diving and snorkeling. Our island hopping is fully covered by our selected package which include the service of tour bus to transport us from hotel, boat to travel from jetty to island and vise versa, snorkeling sets and a dedicated tour guide.

It is a beautiful island to hopping in due to its white beach and clear sea to give you a clear view of sea corals and animals, such a fantastic experience because it is my first time to do snorkeling. On the last part of our island hopping activity we landed on Pulau Manukan which is 15 minutes away using boat from Pulau Sapi. By the time that we arrived there we have a few hours to do snorkeling before we headed back to Tanjung Aru.

Below are sets of photo taken during the island hopping. Enjoy.
