Welcome to my blog,
I'm Lester Davies from Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. Currently working with an offshore company. Graduated from University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and the holder of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering.
I interest mostly on sports and arts which is to me, photography. The first camera that I own is Canon Powershot A550 which I bought when I'm enrol to the university on 2007. It is the camera that I used the whole years while I'm still study. During that years, I have no knowledge of photography and didn't know about the ISO, Shutter speed, Aperture and etc. As long as I can get the picture, did not care if it is out of composition.
The second camera that I bought is Sony Nex-5n, which is a mirrorless. The mirrorless have taught me the insight of photography. The camera have gave me more control to capture picture with my own style. From this point, I'm starting to get obsess about photography and now, I have made it as my main hobby. Everytime I got out to work, I will bring my camera with me and every weekend my wife and I spend most of the times out of the house to overcome my obsession.
Internet is the place where I learn the basic of photography. I have joined the Photo Malaysia Community which gives me a lot of lesson and guide on photograpy. My profile in the Photo Malaysia Community is sterdav. Currently, I have own a Pentax K-3 which I hope to give me a good service to my obsession to photography.
