The Grand Old Lady Miri

The Grand Old Lady, the first oil well in Miri located at Canada Hill. The first oil well was drilled by Shell in 1910, and is now a state monument and one of Miri's tourist attractions. Also, the other attraction on the Canada Hill is the Petroleum Science Museum but unfortunately while I'm visiting there the museum is closed for maintenance and expected to reopen on August or September.

Whole Miri city can be viewed from the Canada Hill.
